ITAL Community Garden – Better Mental Health Workshops
Wednesday 5th October 2022
We are opening our garden to social prescribers and *those experiencing low level mental health concerns in 2022, particularly those from the POC community who are disproportionately under- represented by mainstream health care provisions, whilst tackling food insecurity in one of the most deprived parts of London and in one of the highest wards in Lewisham for mental health referrals.
The series of 4 weekly gardening workshops, repeats every month, May til October showing you how to grow culturally diverse foods at home: soil preparation, germination & planting, watering & harvesting and making your own DIY plant pots and watering cans.
